Abstract Process of LCDs resizing based on the use of precision dicing saw that does not required removal polarizers and light enhancement layers has been developed and evaluated. Required depth and width of diced groove and range of diamond particles of dicing wheel have been optimized to guarantee the minimal damage to pixels during LCD separation as well as process repeatability.
