A general approach to the AC and DC analysis of a class of sigma-delta modulator configurations
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper is concerned with the determination of the output signal produced in response to AC and DC input signals for a general class of sigma-delta (/spl Sigma/-/spl Delta/) modulator configurations. This is achieved by deriving an input signal bound for "overload-free" operation of the constituent coarse quantizer, and by using the result for the determination of the closed-form solution of the granular quantization error. It is shown that this closed-form solution can be used to replace the /spl Sigma/-/spl Delta/ modulator under consideration by an equivalent open-loop system. The resulting open-loop system is then exploited and applied to the determination of the shaped signal and noise components of the modulator output signal. An example is given to illustrate the application of the results to the AC and DC analysis of a conventional double-loop /spl Sigma/-/spl Delta/ modulator.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
