Abstract
Cet article présente une application du modèle de l'équilibration de Piaget à l'analyse d'un processus de développement conceptuel relié à une activité d'apprentissage en physique. L'activité proposée est basée sur l'exploration d'un micromonde de mouvement. Elle a pour but d'amener le sujet à élaborer des représentations qualitatives (schemes) de certains phénomènes physiques à partir de ses représentations initiales et de leurs modifications progressives au contact de situations variées. L'application du modèle de l'équilibration à l'analyse de ce changement conceptuel met en évidence certains mécanismes généraux qui interviennent dans le passage d'un niveau de représentation à un autre. Elle permet d'illustrer concrètement la forme que prend, dans le contexte d'une activité d'appren- tissage spécifique, l'alternance des processus interactifs et constructifs en jeu dans l'équilibration.
