Abstract
A facility for making near-end crosstalk measurements on multipair cable is described. This facility yields pair-to-pair frequency- and time-domain responses, useful for characterizing crosstalk in digital loop transmission. Through measurements with multiple synchronous ISDN (integrated services digital network) loop transmitters, it also allows measurement and characterization of cyclostationary crosstalk variation.
