JUAN AUTRIQUE GOMEZ, INSIGNE EGRESADO Y EXPRESIDENTE DEL PATRONATO Y PATRONO BENEFACTOR DE LA FACULTAD DE QUIMICA (FQ), RECIBIO UN MERECIDO HOMENAJE POR SU FRUCTIFERA LABOR EN BENEFICIO DE ESA ENTIDAD UNIVERSITARIA. ANTE ALUMNOS, ACADEMICOS Y FAMILIARES QUE LO ACOMPANARON DURANTE LA CEREMONIA EN EL AUDITORIO A DE LA FACULTAD, CARLOS KOBE HEDERE, EXACADEMICO DE LA MISMA, MANIFESTO SU ALEGRIA POR COMPARTIR ESE MOMENTO TAN IMPORTANTE CON JUAN AUTRIQUE, SU AMIGO POR MUCHOS ANOS. INFORMO QUE EL HOMENAJEADO OBTUVO SU TITULO DE INGENIERO EN 1954 EN LA ANTIGUA ESCUELA NACIONAL DE CIENCIAS QUIMICAS. POSTERIORMENTE INCREMENTO SU CURRICULO CON CURSOS Y SEMINARIOS DE CAPACITACION TECNICA EN MEXICO Y VARIAS CIUDADES DE ESTADOS UNIDOS, INGLATERRA Y CANADA; TRANSMITIO SUS CONOCIMIENTOS COMO DOCENTE EN EL INSTITUTO TECNOLOGICO REGIONAL DE CIUDAD MADERO Y EN LA PROPIA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS QUIMICAS, DONDE IMPARTIO LA MATERIA DE DISENO DE EQUIPO, DURANTE UN ANO LECTIVO. DESTACO QUE JUAN AUTRIQUE SE HA DESEMPENADO EN EL AMPLIO AMBITO DE SU CARRERA, YA SEA COMO INGENIERO EN DISENO Y CONSTRUCCION; ARRANQUE Y OPERACION DE PLANTAS INDUSTRIALES; DIRECCION Y ADMINISTRACION DE EMPRESAS, EJECUTIVO DE VENTAS Y SERVICIOS TECNICOS EN MEXICO Y EN NUMEROSAS CIUDADES DEL EXTRANJERO. TAMBIEN COMO ORGANIZADOR DE COMPANIAS MANUFACTURERAS Y DE SERVICIOS; MIEMBRO DE CONSEJOS DE ADMINISTRACION; CONSULTOR Y ASESOR DE ORGANISMOS PRIVADOS Y PUBLICOS. SU AMPLIA VISION EMPRESARIAL Y DOTES DE ORGANIZADOR LIDER, DE CONCERTADOR DE ACUERDOS COMERCIALES, QUEDARON DEMOSTRADOS PLENAMENTE EN LOS CARGOS QUE DESEMPENO EN EMPRESAS QUE LE FUERON ENCOMENDADAS PARA SU RESCATE, DEBIDO A PROBLEMAS FINANCIEROS, BAJA PRODUCCION, MALA CALIDAD DE PRODUCTO, MERCADOS REDUCIDOS O PERDIDAS ECONOMICAS, ENTRE OTRAS. ASIMISMO FUE PRECURSOR EN RECOMENDAR Y PROMOVER LA PRIVATIZACION DE UNA GRAN CANTIDAD DE EMPRESAS CON PARTICIPACION ESTATAL. COMO RECONOCIMIENTO A SU CAPACIDAD PROFESIONAL, FUE DISTINGUIDO POR EL GOBIERNO FEDERAL PARA PARTICIPAR EN ACUERDOS INTERNACIONALES COMO EL CONVENIO DE COMERCIO CON CHILE, EN MISIONES OFICIALES EN BRASIL, SUECIA, ESPANA Y NICARAGUA, SENALO. KOBE HEDERE MENCIONO TAMBIEN LA ACTIVA PARTICIPACION DEL HOMENAJEADO EN ORGANISMOS PROFESIONALES, SU ASPECTO HUMANO Y ALGUNAS DE LAS DISTINCIONES A LAS QUE SE HA HECHO MERECEDOR. DIJO ADEMAS QUE SU AMOR Y AGRADECIMIENTO A LA UNAM LO HA DEMOSTRADO CON EL OTORGAMIENTO DE BECAS PARA ALUMNOS DE ESTA ESCUELA Y DONATIVOS AL PATRONATO DE LA FACULTAD DE QUIMICA. POR SU PARTE, EDUARDO BARZANA GARCIA, DIRECTOR DE LA FACULTAD DE QUIMICA, DESTACO QUE JUAN AUTRIQUE, MIEMBRO DE LA GENERACION 49 DE ESTA DEPENDENCIA, HA SIDO UN ENTUSIASTA COLABORADOR DESDE LA PRIMERA CAMPANA FINANCIERA QUE SE EFECTUO. MAS TARDE, EN 1996 SE INTEGRO AL PATRONATO DE LA FACULTAD Y EN NOVIEMBRE DE 2001 FUE ELECTO PRESIDENTE DEL MISMO. EN SU OPORTUNIDAD, JUAN AUTRIQUE GOMEZ MANIFESTO SU ALEGRIA POR ESTE HOMENAJE, EL CUAL, DIJO, NO MEREZCO YA QUE FUE UN TRABAJO DE MUCHOS. SOLO ME ENCARGUE DE COORDINAR LOS ESFUERZOS, MI EQUIPO DE TRABAJO ES EL QUE HA BUSCADO LAS FORMAS PARA CONSEGUIR TODOS ESTOS APOYOS.
