Abstract
Ce rapport présente les initiatives de certains organismes gouvernementaux d'aide bilatérale et multilatérale et d'organismes subventionnaires privés à l'appui de l'intégration des femmes au développement. On y décrit non seulement certains des projets qui ont été financés par les organismes en question, mais également quelques-unes des activités internes qu'ils ont entreprises pour s'assurer que leur personnel soit sensibilisé à l'importance de faire participer un plus grand nombre de femmes à leurs projets. Le rapport montre que même si un grand nombre d'organismes reconnaissent désormais l'importance du rôle des femmes dans le développement, il n'en faut pas moins encore recueillir davantage de données sur la nature des rôles sociaux, économiques et politiques des femmes au sein de leurs propres sociétés et assurer une plus grande collaboration et un partage de l'information plus poussé entre les organismes subventionnaires.
