Abstract
Résumé La gestion de l’internationalisation est principalement faite de communication et d’utilisation du langage. Dans un contexte international, les gestionnaires, les vendeurs, les chargés de projet ou les ingénieurs discutent, négocient, écrivent, tentent de communiquer quelque chose et tentent d’interpréter les messages qui leur sont adressés. Le champ des affaires internationales parle peu de cette dimension, préférant se concentrer sur des éléments techniques tels que la forme de pénétration des marchés, l’enchaînement et l’ordre des phases d’internationalisation ou les critères de choix d’une implantation. Cet article propose de remettre au centre de l’analyse l’un des outils les plus importants de la gestion et de la vente à l’étranger, soit la communication, et plus particulièrement sa dimension interculturelle. Il analyse l’influence de la capacité pragmatique à communiquer sur différentes phases du processus d’internationalisation des entreprises.
