Hipnosis como tratamiento del dolor en pacientes con fibromialgia Hypnosis as a Treatment of Pain in Patients with Fibromyalgia
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Fibromyalgia is a diverse set of symptoms of still uncertain etiology, however, their common denominator is chronic widespread muscle pain, with unpredictable attacks of variable duration and intensity, which often become disabling. Currently, medication is inadequate, so an interdisciplinary approach is required in which hypnosis is a very promising option. This research shows the results of a workshop consisting of eight sessions in which hypnosis was used in pain reduction, under a cognitive behavioral approach, with a group of eight individuals diagnosed with fibromyalgia in the city of Heredia, Costa Rica. Each session was structured in two parts: the first, didactic, and the second, a practice-orien ted application of hypnosis and cognitive behavioral techniques. Two CD's were delivered, one with suggestions for security and selfcontrol and the other on dissociation and decreased pain perception. Before and after the program, the participants were given the McGill Pain Questionnaire, Visual Analogue Scale, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Beck’s Depression Inventory. The results reveal a significant decrease in pain and a very low level of anxiety, as well as the complete disappearance of the depression that five of the participants were undergoing at the start of the program.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
