Abstract
Este artigo apresenta premissas de análise da democracia para além dos parâmetros formal-institucionais que a compatibilizam com as determinações socioeconômicas do capitalismo. O foco é identificar democracia como um processo de democratização associado à construção de uma nova ordem societária que se contraponha à do capital. É com esse entendimento que traremos os conteúdos das lutas e das resistências feministas, como constitutivas deste processo de democratização na realidade brasileira contemporânea, permeada por um contexto de recrudescimento do conservadorismo, por meio de múltiplas violências e violações de direitos. Para tanto, realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental.
