Abstract
Sur le jeu entre « Doué est-il ? » et « D’où est-il ? » nous interrogeons la difficulté de la construction pré-oedipienne sous l’angle de la défaillance du père imaginaire et donc de la différence des générations pour des enfants intellectuellement « surdoués » en situation d’inadaptation. Les questions posées par la pratique du bilan psychologique et de suivis thérapeutiques auprès d’enfants tous venants confirme l’intérêt de la réflexion, notamment pour les nombreuses demandes actuelles à propos d’enfants que l’on classifie dans des structures « limites ». Les données amenées par l’analyse d’une étude sur les enfants surdoués sont alors envisagées sous l’hypothèse de leur valeur générale.
