Abstract
Os projetos ocorrem em praticamente todas as organizações variando em termos de finalidade, complexidade e volume de recursos empregados, gerando produtos ou serviços para clientes internos e externos. Quando uma empresa decide inovar, está, em maior ou menor grau, tomando uma decisão organizacional e assumindo os riscos de mudança. Neste contexto, o estudo teve por objetivo analisar o gerenciamento de projetos e sua aplicação para a inovação, como perspectiva da obtenção de resultados positivos. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, tendo como método de trabalho o estudo de caso Os resultados observados foram a oportunidade da empresa, conhecer e praticar as ferramentas de gerenciamento de projetos a fim de aperfeiçoar seus recursos e viabilizar suas ideias através de tecnologias e inovações oferecidas a seus clientes, bem como apresentar a aproximação das teorias de gerenciamento de projetos a partir da gestão de ideias e implementação de inovação em seus produtos e serviços. Por fim, ressaltou-se as limitações da pesquisa e oportunidades de trabalhos futuros.
