Abstract
Classiquement abordé comme une entrave à la symbolisation, l’agir est ici appréhendé, au-delà de sa fonction défensive, comme un appel en direction de l’objet et de sa fonction miroir. La problématique de l’agir révèlerait une faille dans l’organisation réflexive interne qui actualise d’une manière centrale les enjeux de l’identité et de l’autoreprésentation. A partir d’un cas clinique centré sur l’agir suicidaire, l’auteur interroge les effets de l’absence d’une réponse réflexive subjectivante de l’objet sur l’identité en souffrance. L’exploration de la valeur potentiellement autoreprésentative de l’acte et du discours qui lui est associé conduit à décrire les processus qui sous-tendent l’identité et l’établissement d’un rapport à soi au cours du développement.
