Abstract
Les facteurs de domination sont nombreux et s'ils se ramènent à des catégories objectivables, comme l'âge, le sexe, le patrimoine économique, le patrimoine symbolique, la profession du père, - le tout en accointance avec la société et son histoire où ils prévalent -, ils n'en demeurent pas moins propres aux effets distordants, voire schizophrènes, dans l'Algérie indépendante, surtout lorsqu'ils sont rapportés à un groupe social malmené et qui les diffracte par intériorisation d'un double habitus (celui d'Algérien et celui de locuteur francophone), les intellectuels. Par cette étude, où nous nous interrogeons nous-mêmes dans une auto-sociologie, nous entendons montrer le sort particulier que réservent la langue et son usage, son pouvoir de représentation et celui qui lui est prêté de réalisation, dans ce contexte.
