Abstract
L’observation des comportements de recherche, d’utilisation et de gestion de l’information scientifique des étudiants rend évidente la nécessité d’une formation documentaire. Plusieurs années de pratique, de recherche et de réflexion, rapidement décrites, ainsi qu’un survol de la littérature nous incitent à penser la communication scientifique globalement et à considérer l’étudiant, futur chercheur, à la fois comme utilisateur et comme auteur de littérature scientifique. L’article définit cette conception globale de la communication scientifique et donne en exemple une formation documentaire basée sur ce principe, faisant le pari que l’apprentissage de la culture scientifique et du monde de la communication scientifique doivent faire partie d’un même projet de formation.
