Abstract

Cet article porte sur le tutorat, un dispositif qui s’est mis en place dans les universités françaises au début de la dernière décennie. L’étude analyse les raisons qui ont conduit à sa standardisation et à sa reproduction en prenant appui sur des sources bibliographiques et des études locales. D’une part, elle présente le tutorat comme une pratique issue du modèle technologique de l’éducation qui modifie le rapport des étudiants au temps de l’apprentissage. D’autre part, elle montre qu’à certaines conditions, les tuteurs, acteurs principaux du dispositif, sont des médiateurs qui facilitent l’accès des étudiants aux connaissances universitaires.
