Abstract
À partir des ouvrages d'Abraham Moles et spécialement de Sociodynamique de la culture, l'auteur de cette étude tente de faire des rapprochements méthodologiques avec les écrits de Lévi-Strauss et des auteurs les plus réputés de la linguistique contemporaine (A. J. Greimas, Louis Hjelmslev, Troubetzkoy, etc.) pour tracer les grandes lignes de ce que Moles appelle l'" art permutationnel ", qui est bien plus un phénomène social d'époque d'envergure, une vision du monde qu'on retrouve sous-jacente à l'"esprit du temps " (l'expression est d'Edgar Morin), qu'une simple chapelle ou école artistique soumise aux jeux, aux remous, aux fluctuations d'une mode passagère. Les infrastructures technologiques et hautement " sophistiquées " des sociétés industrielles avancées ne sont que l'autre face d'une même médaille : les superstructures culturelles peuvent être considérées, à l'analyse, comme leur exacte réplique. C'est l'hypothèse formulée par l'auteur.
