This paper provides a review of major Electric Propulsion activities within U.S. Industry over the past year. Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Loral and Orbital Sciences continue to offer and sell geosynchronous telecommunication spacecraft which either baseline EP or offer EP as an upgrade option. The Boeing EDD group has been sold to L3 Communications, but continues to supply XIPS-25 systems. NGST won NASA’s premier Prometheus program competition for the Jupiter Icy Moon Orbiter, however this program and in particular its near term mission set are currently under re-evaluation. High power (4-10 kW) Hall thruster and gridded Ion Engine development programs at Aerojet, Busek, and L3 have seen significant progress. Lower power engine programs involving various types of EP at AACS, Aerojet, and Busek are discussed. Component develop is reported at ATK-PSI, Moog, Stanford Mu, and Vacco. EP activities at EDA is also summarized.
