A broken block of alabaster, probably once oval in shape, was found out of position during the German excavations at Assur; it is now in the British Museum (1922—8—12, 64=115689). It is inscribed on one side witli a text of Erisum I, in which it is apparently described as a tuppu (A. K. Grayson, Royal Inscriptions of Mesopotamia, Assyrian Periods, vol.
