Abstract
Cet article propose une analyse quantitative de trois grandes tendances conceptuelles contemporaines. En interrogeant les bases de données bibliographiques MLA et ISI , l’auteure montre le changement de paradigme qui a lieu à partir de la fin des années 1990, moment du déclin du postmodernisme et de l’essor de la globalisation . Elle indique que cette transformation conceptuelle est accompagnée d’une nouvelle cartographie disciplinaire où l’importance relative des études littéraires diminue face aux publications en sciences économiques et sciences politiques qui, sous le signe de la globalisation , occupent le premier rang disciplinaire. Enfin, l’étude signale comment cette métamorphose théorique est doublée d’un bouleversement idéologique puisqu’il n’y a pratiquement plus d’opposition à la doctrine néolibérale qui sous-tend la globalisation .
