Abstract
L'auteure analyse la dynamique sexuée de la restructuration économique en cours en Europe centrale de l'Est, dans son passage d'une économie planifiée à une économie de marché, et dans la région formée par le Moyen-Orient et l'Afrique du Nord, aux prises avec une crise économique et des politiques d'ajustement structurel. L'analyse met en relief les effets de ces changements sur les femmes en tant que femmes, citoyennes et travailleuses.
