Abstract
This article presents a view of the presence of Palencia's dialect in Internet at the end of 20th century. It comments on the main tendencies of the change in the computer sys- tem in the last quarter of the century and their impact on the usage of local linguistic aspects in the traditional joumalistic writing as well as in the global writing of the new technologies. After des- cribing a virtual route througth the contents of the informative nets and of the knowledge of the culture of Palencia, analises its contrast fight between the tendency to popularisation and science. Finally, it gives an account of the main aspects of the formulae of global writing, organised accor- ding to linguistic leveles in the dialect of Palencia.
