Abstract
À la lumière d’une recherche réalisée auprès de femmes réfugiées au Québec, cet article montre l’existence d’un lien entre la trajectoire migratoire de femmes réfugiées et leur expérience de la citoyenneté. Ce rapport est unique puisqu’il est tributaire non seulement des faits vécus, mais aussi de la résonance interne de ces événements ainsi que des stratégies et des mécanismes de défense déployés par la personne pour s’adapter à la situation et prendre sa place dans son milieu d’accueil. L’article présente aussi une typologie mettant en évidence différents rapports qu’entretiennent les femmes réfugiées à la citoyenneté.
