Abstract
La violence en milieu scolaire est un phénomène qui retient de plus en plus l’attention. L’article proposé présente les principaux résultats d’une enquête menée à l’hiver 2000 auprès de 21 685 élèves d’écoles secondaires publiques francophones de Montréal, portant sur la violence entre pairs et dans les relations amoureuses. Ces résultats mettent en lumière l’importance de la victimisation dans les écoles de Montréal. Ils montrent également que cette situation est plus fréquente pour certains sous-groupes de jeunes. La discussion de l’étude s’attarde aux enjeux en matière d’éducation à la santé pour la prévention de la violence.
