Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Time resolved electroluminescence (EL) measurements were performed on high voltage cable grade crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation with positive, negative and alternating polarity impulses at various repetition rates. To create divergent fields in the insulation, needle electrodes made of semiconductive polymer were used. It is shown that the EL emission probability is lower for unipolar as compared to alternating polarity impulses and more EL pulses are emitted during the negative than the positive polarity. However, the EL emission probability is independent of the impulse repetition rate from 0.001 to 1500 Hz and this shows that for up to 16 min there is practically no decay of the space charge near the semicon tip. The EL pulses are always grouped within two distinct time periods between which there is no EL activity.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
