Abstract
Cet article a pour objectif de vérifier les effets d’une intervention parentale en lecture sur la connaissance des lettres et la sensibilité phonologique d’élèves à risque. À l’aide d’un plan de recherche quasi expérimental, un groupe de parents est formé à l’intervention pour la lecture du nom et des sons des lettres de l’alphabet tandis que d’autres parents agissent comme groupe témoin. Des mesures de la connaissance du nom et des sons des lettres et de la sensibilité phonologique ont été effectuées avant et après l’inter- vention. Les résultats indiquent que les deux groupes ont réalisé des gains statistiquement significatifs sur la connaissance des lettres. Par ailleurs, les élèves du groupe expérimental ont progressé davantage que ceux du groupe témoin sur le plan de la sensibilité phonologique.
