- La professionnalisation du métier d'enseignant a plusieurs moteurs, les uns liés à l'évolution du travail dans des sociétés à forte dominance du tertiaire et des nouvelles classes moyennes, les autres plus internes aux politiques de l'éducation et à l'évolution d'un système éducatif confronté à de nouveaux publics et à de nouveaux défis. L'évolution de la formation des maîtres est à la fois une condition, un levier et un effet de la professionnalisation du métier d'enseignant. Former de véritables professionnels, c'est préparer à une pratique réfléchie et mieux articuler savoirs savants et savoirs d'expérience. C'est d'abord parler de la réalité et de la complexité de l'éducation pédagogique.
