Avec près de 2 millions d’emplois perdus dans l’industrie manufacturière en presque 30 ans, l’industrie française connaît actuellement l’une de ses phases les plus sombres. Ce phénomène se conjugue aujourd’hui avec la perte de la compétitivité de l’économie française et donc la perte de parts de marché tant dans la zone Euro que dans le reste du monde. Repenser l’industrie française pour freiner la désindustrialisation est donc vital à la relance globale de l’économie. De nombreux acteurs doivent dès maintenant agir dans ce sens si nous ne voulons pas voir notre rang, notre compétitivité, notre économie et notre tissu socio-économique éclater.Pour l’auteur, l’un des plus grands représentants et acteurs de l’industrie française, neuf facteurs principaux à ce phénomène peuvent être avancés, qu’il s’agirait donc de repenser rapidement sur le modèle, par exemple, de l’Allemagne.
