Abstract
Cet article présente le programme de productivité multifactorielle de Statistique Canada. Dans un premier temps, il dresse un portrait d’ensemble du programme. Puis, il présente, de manière plus approfondie et à l’aide de quelques illustrations graphiques, les divers indices de productivité multifactorielle couramment diffusés par Statistique Canada. Ces indices portent sur les activités de production des industries prises isolément (indices industriels) ou sur les activités de production de biens et services impliquant directement ou indirectement l’ensemble des industries de l’économie (indices interindustriels ou par groupes de biens et services). L’article se termine par la discussion de deux hypothèses de travail concernant quelques difficultés conceptuelles et empiriques majeures de mesure de la productivité.
