Abstract
Les débats actuels au sein de la géographie d'expression française s'avèrent dynamiques et féconds. En témoigne la récente série d'articles parus dans trois revues différentes concernant la notion de géographie tropicale et la pensée de Pierre Gourou. Les Cahiers de géographie du Québec accueillent à leur tour une douzaine d'articles dont six abordent explicitement la question de l'idéologie en géographie et qui tous contribuent au stock des idées et débats au sein de la discipline. Cet article les situe et en résume quelques-uns.
