Cette note de recherche résume la problématique à partir de laquelle a été réalisée une bibliographie analytique de quelque deux cents titres sur les femmes vieillissantes au travail et à la retraite. Cette bibliographie visait à faire le point sur l'état des connaissances actuelles afin d'en identifier les acquis et les lacunes dues au sexisme, encore trop souvent présent dans ces travaux. Il s'agit toutefois d'un champ d'études en croissance et en mutation où les préoccupations des recherches féministes commencent à rejoindre celles qui ont trait à l'avance en âge des femmes. La note présente les principaux résultats de cette démarche et propose des priorités de recherche.
