Abstract
Les ravinements et les inondations boueuses constituent les principaux risques naturels des espaces ruraux vallonnés de l’ouest du Bassin parisien. Une part importante des matériaux érodés atteint les cours d’eau secondaires qui voient leur dynamique fluviale modifiée. Cela traduit le début d’une morphogenèse accélérée qui tend à prendre le relais de la morphogenèse ménagée. L’enquête historique et l’analyse des dépôts anciens montrent que cette dernière a accompagné l’anthropisation tant qu’elle a laissé subsister un minimum d’obstacles (haies, talus, fossés) au ruissellement concentré. Des solutions existent pour ralentir ou stopper cette morphogenèse accélérée.
