L’expérience de création en théâtre pour adolescents en Ontario français : paroles et gestes

Abstract
Le présent texte offre une perspective multiple de l’expérience du processus de création. Il examine les liens que des artistes identifient entre leur expérience de création et l’éducation artistique et culturelle des spectateurs adolescents en Ontario français. Les résultats présentés sont issus d’une recherche doctorale plus large, de type ethnographique, menée au sein de deux compagnies théâtrales à Ottawa pendant les périodes de création de deux spectacles. Une analyse interprétative des paroles et des gestes des artistes fait émerger trois rôles que ces derniers pensent jouer dans l’éducation des adolescents : l’ artiste conteur , l’ artiste formateur et l’ artiste passeur . Cette recherche qualitative permet de comprendre comment les artistes travaillent et révèle l’ampleur de leurs initiatives et de leurs besoins liés à la création pour adolescents, notamment en contexte scolaire.
