Abstract
À partir principalement de leur curriculum vitae, cet article trace le profil des chefs des établissements universitaires du Québec en place à l’automne 1985. L’auteur conclut que les chefs des institutions universitaires du Québec diffèrent peu de leurs collègues américains et canadiens et que leur profil de carrière ressemble même à celui des gestionnaires généralistes de Kotter.
