Abstract
In this paper, we present a general methodology whereby steady intense vortices are transformed into time decaying via an independent variable that combined space and time. The fundamental principle was then employed to extend the disingularized n- family of steady state vortices in to time dependent. Limited experimental data confirms the validity of the approach. The method is sufficiently general as to allow the conversion of any known vortex model of the same kind from steady to time decaying and visa versa.
