Abstract
Le nombre de jeunes qui abandonnent l’école secondaire grandit chaque année : auQuébec, le pourcentage dépasse 30 %. Les conséquences de cette situation sontnombreuses : échecs personnels des jeunes, problèmes sociaux, chômage, etc. Enparticulier, le manque de préparation à la vie active de ces jeunes adultes leurcrée des difficultés. Une des pistes prometteuses de solution à ce problème résidedans l’utilisation du modèle d’alternance école-travail. Cependant, dansl’application de ce modèle, l’entreprise semble être la grande oubliée. Lesreprésentants d’entreprises, au cours d’une récente recherche, affirment que lesjeunes apprennent beaucoup plus en entreprises que partout ailleurs, y compris àl’école. Ils proposent une meilleure collaboration entreprise-école-famille pouraider les jeunes à se préparer à entrer sur le marché du travail.
