L'intégration professionnelle des personnes handicapées : que font les organisations avant-gardistes?

Abstract
Résumé L’intégration professionnelle des personnes handicapées s’avère encore aujourd’hui un défi à relever pour l’entreprise. Cet article constitue une synthèse qui s’appuie sur des résultats d’entrevues menées auprès de 11 organisations reconnues comme étant avant-gardistes ou comme offrant un milieu de travail favorable aux personnes handicapées. Il comprend cinq parties. Tout d’abord, nous énoncerons les raisons pour lesquelles il est important d’intégrer les personnes handicapées dans les milieux de travail. Ensuite, nous examinerons les pratiques favorisant l’embauche de ces personnes. Puis, nous nous pencherons sur la gestion du développement professionnel des personnes handicapées. Par la suite, nous énumérerons les conditions de succès pour l’intégration de ces personnes dans l’entreprise. Finalement, des implications pour la pratique seront présentées afin de soutenir l’intégration professionnelle des personnes handicapées.
