Dans cet article, nous présentons quelques-uns des résultats issus d’une étude qui s’est intéressée aux rapports à la physique et à l’enseignement de la physique de futures enseignantes du primaire, engagées dans la première année de leur formation préuniversitaire en éducation. Plus précisément, nous documentons la façon dont les participantes décrivent, d’une part, leurs expériences scolaires d’apprentissage de notions liées à la physique et, d’autre part, leur intérêt pour l’enseignement de ces notions au primaire. Trente-sept participantes ont rempli un bilan de savoirs au sujet de leur point de vue sur la physique et son enseignement. Nous constatons qu’une majorité de participantes montrent une relation positive à l’enseignement de notions liées à la physique au primaire, alors que seulement cinq participantes laissent voir une relation plus difficile. Certaines participantes évoquent des craintes ou des préoccupations face à l’enseignement de ces notions, alors que d’autres envisagent cet enseignement sous l’angle de son utilité. Pour plusieurs, l’enseignement de la physique au primaire apparaît plus simple qu’au secondaire et au collégial.
