Abstract
Abstract Objective: To develop a working tool for the storage and stability of drugs prepared in syringes for subcutaneous administration in an end-of-life context. Context: Subcutaneous administration of drugs is often required at the end of life. The handling and storage of injectable products requires the use of a sterile fume hood and compliance with the strict rules of aseptic technique. However, it is not always possible to follow such recommendations at home in an end-of-life context. Delayed access to a sterile fume hood, the paucity of validated information on product storage, the main concern for the patient’s well-being, and variations in his/her health status are all obstacles that may compromise conditions of use of injectable drugs in the patient’s home. Conclusion: A working tool was developed in order to faciliate decision-making. The information included is based on the interpretation of data from the scientific literature and on the clinical experience of a group of pharmacists working in healthcare establishments. Key words: end-of-life care; injectable drugs; subcutaneous; stability in a syringe; home care.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
