Abstract
En relation avec un adjectif, une complétive et une infinitive ne sont pas toujours commutables ou, si elles le sont, peuvent quelquefois entraîner une différence de sens. Il est suggéré que ces deux types de constructions se réfèrent à des notions différentes et que leur syntaxe n’est pas sans rapport avec leur sémantisme. Certains emplois récents de l’adjectif évident sont étudiés en relation avec cette opposition.
