Abstract
La voie prometteuse du commun ne semble pas en mesure de changer les anticipations négatives de la crise écologique globale. En revenant sur deux acceptions fondamentales du commun appliquées au champ environnemental, la première mettant l’accent sur ce qui « appartient à plusieurs », la seconde sur « ce qui se décide ensemble », l’article approfondit la question des conditions nécessaires au développement d’une gestion en patrimoine commun des problèmes environnementaux, susceptible de concourir effectivement à l’idéal démocratique.
