Abstract
Le mémoire porte sur les recherches en cours à l'Université de Sherbrooke et plus précisément sur l'exploitation des banques de données textuelles dans un cadre prédictionnairique. La constitution d'un corpus textuel de 250 000 mots à partir de textes québécois relatifs au domaine de l'environnement aquatique et la présentation d'une analyse statistique détaillée du contenu de ce corpus sont au centre de la présente étude. L'auteur présente les résultats de sa recherche pour montrer que la description du vocabulaire général de l'environnement aquatique peut largement profiter de l'apport d'un corpus textuel.
