Différents auteurs reconnaissent la pertinence de renouveler la conception scolaire des sciences la plus courante, ainsi que les stratégies d’enseignement qui y sont liées. Pour plusieurs, s’inspirer de travaux de sociologie des sciences représente une avenue intéressante en ce sens. Dans ce qui suit, nous décrivons comment des chercheurs en éducation ont interprété ces dimensions sociales des sciences, nous soulignons la fécondité de certaines propositions pour renouveler les conceptions des sciences de futurs enseignants 3 et présentons, à titre illustratif, la position d’une enseignante du primaire en formation initiale.
