Cet article présente les résultats d'une recherche sur l'insertion professionnelle des enseignants débutants. Des entrevues ont été réalisées auprès de vingt-sept enseignants participant au programme d'insertion professionnelle du nouveau personnel enseignant de l'Ontario (PIPNPE). Les défis rencontrés par ces enseignants en regard du contexte organisationnel au sein duquel ils travaillent, de la gestion de la classe et de la gestion de l'enseignement seront discutés. Leurs commentaires à propos des dispositifs d'encadrement du PIPNPE seront également présentés.
