Abstract
Dans cet article les auteurs rendent compte des tous premiers résultats d’une vaste enquête qu’ils mènent à l’heure actuelle sur la transmission des P.M.E. familiales dans chacun des cinq départements qui constituent l’Aquitaine : - Si la transmission semble bien être considérée par l'immense majorité des dirigeants- propriétaires de P.M.E. familiales comme un acte de gestion, celui-ci ne revêt pas pour l’instant la dimension prévisionnelle qu'il suppose. En effet, l'existence d’un plantransmission reste encore l’exception et non la règle même s’il peut paraître abusif de faire une généralité des résultats obtenus. - Dans la plupart des situations rencontrées, on constate une incompatibilité entre le système de valeurs des dirigeants propriétaires et les potentialités de l’entreprise : dans 67% des cas, en effet, la transmission ne pourra être assurée dans le cadre familial.
