Simulating parallel neighbouring communications among square meshes and square toruses
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Given a d-dimensional task graph G and a c-dimensional system graph H, each of which is either a square mesh or a square torus, such that G and H are of the same size but may differ in dimensions and shapes, the authors design and analyze distributed routing algorithms to simulate in H any set of parallel neighboring communications in G. They assume that all the processors have only unit size buffers associated with their links. For all the combinations of the graph types and the graph shapes for G and H, except for the case in which d<c and c is not divisible by d, H can simulate G with a time complexity either optimal or optimal up to a constant factor for fixed values of d and c. All of the simulation complexities are much smaller than the diameter of H, the lower bound for any routing algorithm supporting general data permutations on H.<<ETX>>

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
