Abstract

This paper focuses on implementation issues at the interface between holonic control devices (HCDs) and agent-based systems. In particular, we look at a function block-based approach to communication that is applicable to existing IEC 61131-3 systems and emerging IEC 61499 systems. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
