Abstract
Cet article propose une réflexion sur une problématique sociale peu ou mal connue : les obstacles et les éléments de discrimination auxquels de nombreuses femmes immigrées sont confrontées et plus particulièrement par celles des groupes racisés ou appartenant aux minorités visibles . Ces difficultés contribuent à la précarité de leurs situations dans leurs efforts d’insertion dans la société québécoise. Cette réflexion apporte un éclairage sur les facteurs qui freinent ou qui compromettent l’intégration socioéconomique des femmes qui vivent des situations d’inégalité, d’injustice et de précarité. Elle permet de plus aux intervenantes et intervenants qui travaillent auprès de cette population de mieux tenir compte de leurs conditions de vie. L’auteure invite également à revoir, dans une perspective d’analyse différenciée selon les sexes, les politiques publiques et les programmes sociaux qui prévalent actuellement en matière d’immigration et d’intégration.
