Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper presents a measurement of the ${W}^{+}{W}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ production cross section in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{TeV}$. The leptonic decay channels are analyzed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $4.6\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The ${W}^{+}{W}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ production cross section $\ensuremath{\sigma}(pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{W}^{+}{W}^{\ensuremath{-}}+X)$ is measured to be $51.9\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.0(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3.9(\mathrm{syst})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.0(\mathrm{lumi})\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{pb}$, compatible with the Standard Model prediction of ${44.7}_{\ensuremath{-}1.9}^{+2.1}\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{pb}$. A measurement of the normalized fiducial cross section as a function of the leading lepton transverse momentum is also presented. The reconstructed transverse momentum distribution of the leading lepton is used to extract limits on anomalous $WWZ$ and $WW\ensuremath{\gamma}$ couplings.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
