Effect of test source parameters on flashover voltage of polymer insulators in clean fog test
Bibliographic record
Abstract
One of the most important factors in artificial pollution test of insulators is the source parameter. Several researches have been performed for ceramic insulators; however fewer investigations for composite insulators have been done. In this paper it has been demonstrated that for a cascade setup, adding an output capacitor could improve the test setups for testing of composite insulators. Besides simulations, clean-fog test method was used to determine the flashover voltage (FOV) of composite insulators, which were selected from distribution overhead lines with different natural age level. Higher pollution values cause higher error and reduce the FOV in all cases. For a 1-year aged insulator, the error is less than 10%, but the maximum error for a 5-year aged and 10-year old are 22% and 40%, respectively. The error decreases depending on the hydrophobicity of silicon rubber. The less hydrophobic the insulator surface the greater the error in FOV.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
