Abstract
La présente note de recherche offre une brève réflexion autour de la représentation des Premières Nations à travers le programme éducatif provincial et de ses conséquences sur la perpétuation de stéréotypes à l'intérieur du tissu social québécois. Malgré les recommandations de la Maîtrise indienne de l'éducation indienne (FIC 1972: 10-11), la marginalisation systémique a continué à s'opérer, voire à se renouveler, à travers les manuels et cursus scolaires sur un plan intergénérationnel, et l'on assiste à la création d'un large éventail d'initiatives pédagogiques, artistiques et sociopolitiques locales. L'auteure se questionne ici sur la possibilité d'aspirer à l'assainissement des relations autochtones-allochtones sans une véritable remise en question de nos propres perspectives historiques, identitaires et institutionnelles.
